We are not for profit non governamental-organization(NGO) based in jagtial,telangana,india run the preventive health clinic of jagtial sponsored by American association of physicians of indian origin(AAPI) charitable foundation based in Chicago, Illinois, USA
AAPI Preventive Health Clinic of Jagtial was founded in December 2005 by Dr. Jagan Ailinani, past president of AAPI with support from local group headed by Dr. Sanjay Kumar local Ophthalmologist.
Our Mission
To improve health and wellness of people of Jagtial municipality and surrounding villages of Jagtial, Raikal and Sarangapurmandals of Jagtial district Telangana with emphasis on awareness, education and prevention based on ABCDS.
Clinic initiated following programs and established relationship with several partners like Yashoda hospitals, Prathima institute of medical sciences, Indo American cancer institute, Neoretina eye institute, Indian medical association jagtial, Rotary club jagtial.
Since formation of preventive health clinic of Jagtial in 2005 following various community service projects were conducted.
- Regular cataract surgeries in and around jagtial Town.
- Regular eye checkup test and distribution of spects to govt. school students.
- Distribution of tricycles artificial limbs calipers jaipur foot to physically challenged persons.
- Cancer detection camps.
- Polio immunization to below 5 years children.
- Free medical camps in all Govt. run hostels like KASTURIBHA GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL ,S.C HOSTELS , B.C HOSTELS , ANANDA NIYALAM STUDENTS and distribution of medicines.
- Free Ent camps with surgeries.
- Free cardiac camps.
- Free diabetic camps.
- Free dental camps in schools.
- Free mega health camps in rural remote tribal villages like Jagannathpur, chinthalur.
- Morbidity survey in adopted villages like Mothey, Anthargao, Polasa.
- Distribution of long note books in govt. schools.
- Distribution of school shoes to govt. school students.
- Free distribution of 800 dual desks to govt. schools.
