Toxic chemical exposure of farmers in India and prevention.

General medical camp

  • General medical camp being conducted every year in different villages in partnership with PIMS and Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad.
  • Mobile truck equipped with x-ray unit,ultrasound,echocardiogram and mammography being provided by yashodahospital.Post graduate students and faculty provided by PIMS.If patients need further evaluation or follow-up care being referred to PIMS.Basic lab testing and Medications are provided free of cost.

Rehabilitation Camp

  • Teams comprising orthopedic surgeon, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, orthotic prosthetic engineer and technician.
  • Artificial limb and tricycles distribution camp was conducted in Jagtial in cooperation with Shree BidadaSarvodaya Trust and Jaya Rehabilitation Center of Gujurat.
  • Treated more than 300 handicapped patients and provided them with artificial limbs, tricycles and other appliances Dr .Jagan Ailinani provided additional funding for the camp.

ENT & Cleft Lip/Palate Surgical Camps

  • Ear, nose and throat & cleft clip/palate camps were conducted in cooperation with Yashoda and Care Hospitals of Hyderabad.
  • More than 50 children with cleft lip/ palate were treated surgically by Dr. Y.V. Rao of CARE hospital Hyderabad.
  • More than 200 Ear, Nose and Throat surgeries done by Dr. Deendayal and his team in last 6 years were done at local government hospital.
  • Dr. Jaganailinani has supported financially and coordinated above eminent surgeons in conducting these surgical camps.

Other Health Camps

Liver Disease Camp was conducted on October 7, 2011 by Drs.SubbaRao, MD, FRCS; Rama Krishna, MD, DM; and gastroenterologists from Apollo hospital,Hyderabad provided the services. During the camp they gave Hepatitis-B screenings to 60 patients free of charge. Promoting hepatitis A and B vaccinations(3dose) to all children.

Ambulance Dr. JaganAilinani has Provided first free ambulance service for the people of Jagtial and surrounding villages to transport patients from Jagtial to Karimnagar or Hyderabad. He has contributed Rs 3 Lakhs for purchasing and Rs 5 Lakhs for its maintenance since 8 years.

ADOPT-a-VILLAGE
Dr.Ailinani has adopted his own village and established water purification plant to provide safe drinking water for the villagers at nominal charge.He is also working on improving sanitation through proper trash disposal and providing individual toilets through govt program.

He helped to construct road,built a temple ,purchased additional land and constructed additional class rooms for the school and upgraded from 6th 9 thgrade.Also sponsored anEnglish teacher,LCD projector and established scholarships for poor students.He is also providing free medical,vision,hearing and dental checkups(providing tooth paste and brush) for school children.Monitoring proper nutrition through improving midday meal program and safe drinking water and improving personal hygiene ,also to ensure proper immunizations.

MEDICAL COLLEGE IN KARIMNAGAR
Helped to establish (founding board member of Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Karimnagar to provide secondary and teritiary care to the rural population of karimnagardist,AndhraPradesh,India.Established an affiliation with Southern Illinois University SchooMedicine (SIU), Springfield, IL, USA which is also serve the rural population of central and southern Illinois USA for student and faculty exchange.Developed visiting professor program where U.S faculty mostly of India origin spend some time teaching medical students and PGs at PIMS during their visits to India.He has conducted several CME programs and AHA sponsored BLS and ACLS courses at PIMS in karimnagar for students,faculty and practicing physicians of rural areas.He himself actively involved in teaching students.He has involved the students and PG’s in rural health camps
